Antique Hamilton Beach Ice Cream Scoop Brass w/ Nickel Plating Size 20 L@@K!

Up for sale is an old Hamilton Beach Ice Cream Scoop in excellent working condition. The main body is made of brass with a nickel finish. The handle is black and made from some type of very hard composite material with a yellow-colored end plug. The overall length from bottom of handle to top of scoop is 8 1/2″. The ribbed handle length measures approx. 4″ long x 1″ diameter. The scoop opening is approx. 2 1/8″ diameter. The yellow end plug at the bottom of the handle shows cracking (see close-up). This scoop was not set up on a shelf as a display piece. This scoop was used as it was intended. I wonder how many years of service this scoop saw before it was retired. Better yet, how many scoops of ice cream were actually
served with this old scooper? Too bad no one thought of building some type of counter for this gadget. I can envision a mechanical counter built inside the handle and triggered by the lever action used to empty the scoop. A small viewing window on the handle would let you check to see how business was that day. What a cool concept. Anyway, email with any questions.
