The standard force by manufacturers is the amount of force that can be pulled/stretched on the band at 3 times it’s size. A 1/8″ band will only stretch to 3/8″ max or only 9.32mm! A heavy band can be stretched at a stronger force. That’s why heavy bands are better for stretching around everyday bows and medium bands are better to sew onto the back of bows. Please be aware that ONLY latex bands should be used to make dog bows.
Some uses for these bands include:
Common use for the micro 1/8″ bands are in the floral, doll and fishing industries, gaps in teeth
Tiny 3/16″ bands are generally used in floral, doll, fishing, models, tooth gap
Small 1/4″ bands are used in the pet industry, teeth gap
Medium 5/16″ are a great all around band used in many crafts and hobby projects
3/8″ is usually used for dog topknots
5/8″ is usually used for braiding horse or human hair
Non latex bands should never be used to make dog bows.

*Please note that bags of 2500, 5000 and 10000 are sold by weight and generally will be close to or over the amount of bands purchased, but can vary by as much as 100 bands either way. More than 10,000 bands will be 1-2 weeks for shipment.
ebay is eliminating paypal as a payment choice. I was one of the first sellers forced to accept the new payment system. I can only accept credit card via ebay. If you need to use paypal, please checkout using the “local pickup” option and I will see that and send you an invoice directly through paypal.
Also please do not accept the “guaranteed delivery date” as  the day you will actually receive your items. Ebay and the USPS estimate that date and they are the ones that claim that is the date your items will arrive. I know better than to trust the government or big corporations! Rarely does a package actually arrive on the estimated date of arrival. Please use the USPS website for tracking. It’s not great, but better than Ebay’s tracking system. And remember, I’m not the post office. I don’t drive, fly or swim the item to your house. Once it leaves my house I have no control over it. You can file a missing package search easier than I can because the item is supposed to go to YOUR house, not mine.
The USPS is the one charging for shipping, not me. I only put down the weight and size of the package. USPS charges the fee and Ebay collects it. I am not responsible for the price charged. I don’t charge excess charges, even internationally. I realize shipping can be expensive. Complain to the USPS. Or I can use UPS or Fedex, they charge even more.
