This spring holds the dogs both below the surface when not needed and above for positioning until pressure is applied while clamping. Negative sloped, crosshatched face helps hold the workpiece secure while you’re working. Dogs perform well, are compatible with any standard workbench top – composite or wood that is 3/4″ or more thick.
